The Swansea and District Junior Lawyers Division (JLD) is a group of junior lawyers in the Swansea and greater district area. Membership of the division is automatic and includes LPC students, to solicitors up to five years post qualification experience. We welcome students at our events and host a number of events also open to the wider legal community.

The Committee is made up of a number of volunteers who contribute their time and expertise to the benefit of the Swansea JLD. We host a number of events throughout the year from networking to career development workshops and are dedicated to providing assistance to local junior lawyers in their future career. We are also a heavily charity focused organisation, raising money for our chosen charity each year.

We understand that the early stages of a career in law can be particularly demanding so the support network of your local JLD can be both comforting and helpful. Membership is free and you will receive invaluable networking and training opportunities.
